Sustainly is a place of safety, teamwork and big ambitions. We only succeed when we have each other’s back and encourage each other’s successes. But remember, it’s just work, there are other things in life.
As long as you make sure to give credit, where credit’s due. You can be sure to receive credit when it’s due as well. If you ever feel like this is not the case, make your manager aware.
Humility is important, and so is being proud. When you achieve what you set out to do, feel proud, and when your colleagues achieve something, feel proud on their behalf. We’re in this together, and when someone has a win, everyone has a win.
We’re building a company with a meaningful mission, and hopefully you feel like you’re a central part of that mission. And while giving it your all is important, we’re neither a family or a cult. It’s fun to build something great together, so much so that you might at times put in extra work, invest yourself in what we’re building and get obsessed with solving a specific problem. If you do; great, then you’re in the right company! That’s genuinely awesome. But never feel like your job depends on putting in extra hours or investing your identity into it.
